In pinion there a two options for adding new pages. The easiest way is, to type the desired url in your browser and confirm adding a new page with click on add page.

You can alternatively add new pages using the menu. Open the page-module (menu > modules > all > page) and click on the tab add page. Insert url (and optional title) and click save. Her you can also administrate your pages (delete, change, etc.)

As soon as there are elements in an area, the edit-bar will be shown, when your are hovering the element. Here in the frontend you have already the opportunity to create and edit contents, change the visibility of elements, and so on. In the following this will be explained in detail.

If there is no content in an area yet, you can see only an add-icon instead of the edit-bar. If there is content in an area, the add-icon is within the edit-bar.

To add new contents, click on the add-icon (in an area) and select the module you want to add (e.g. image or textfield). After that you can insert your content, e.g. type the text or upload images. At the end you have to click on the confirm-button to save. Ready...

to add a content to the page, which you have already created (in the frontend or backend), you also can click on the plus-symbol and choose the desired module. Then you have to click on the list-symbol, which is on the appeared bar. Then you can see a preview of the existing contents of this module. Click on the desired content and then you will see it instantly on the page:

To edit a content you only have to click on the pen in the edit-bar and make your modifications.

You can sort contents very simple. Drag the content and drop it anywhere else. You can also drag them from one area in another.
Attention! Draggin contents only works, if the content is in the view-mode (not in edit-mode).
To save the sort you have to click the save-button.

When you are clicking the icon in the edit-bar, all templates, which are available for this module in the current page-template, will be shown. Choose one of it confirm it with a click.
The template will be changed directly and you can see the new design on the page.

Whether a content is displayed on a page, on which you have added it, or it is displayed on every page in a specific area (e.g. it is good for the main-menu), you can manage it with the icon in the edit-bar. To save the changes simply click on the main save-button.

To make contents or pages invisible, you have to click on the visibility-icon in the edit-bar and save it by clicking the save-button on the bottom of your display. Invisible contents and pages are shown with opacity if you are logged in. If you are logged out this contents and pages are not visible.

To rebuild an older version of a content, you only have to select the desired version after clicking the icon . The content will be directly switched and you see the content-element inthe desired version.

Every template can have a many variations, which can all related to specific pages. So e.g. you can use a other variation of your template for the starting-page. To change the variation of this template, its the same procedure as changing the template of a content element (see change the template of a content element). So click on the icon and choose the desired variation. You will see your changes directly after switching the template.
